35th Puget Sound Festival: The Ultimate Battle of Pacific Northwest's Best Bands!

The 35th Puget Sound Festival of Bands is an annual event held at the Everett Memorial Stadium, where thousands of high school students and their bands from the Pacific Northwest compete. More than 20 bands across four divisions, ranging from small groups to those with over 100 members, participate. They initially compete within their divisions and the top 12 move on to the finals. The event offers sheltered seating for spectators, along with food and souvenirs. Hosted by the Cascade High School Band & Color Guard Boosters, it's one of Snohomish County's major single-day events. Judging is done by experts who provide constructive feedback to the participating bands.

SPD Seeks Public's Help: Alarming Series of Armed Incidents at Local Schools.

Seattle Police are investigating multiple armed robberies at Ballard High School and Whitman Middle School since September. Fourteen incidents have been reported since the start of the academic year, involving mainly Black teenage boys, but also an Asian boy and a Black girl in some cases. The suspects have been seen using vehicles like a red Kia, a gray Hyundai, and a red/silver sedan. While the red Kia has been found, the other vehicles are still being sought.

Unraveling Congresswoman Tlaib's Alleged Ties to Hamas: What We Know So Far!

The Canary Mission, an organization combating antisemitism, has expressed concerns about Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib's alleged ties to the Hamas terrorist group. They claim Tlaib has connections to extremist groups and used them for her campaign activities. This includes using a Facebook group that shared extremist content and founding an organization, Black4Palestine, which reportedly supports extremist views and has associations with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The Canary Mission further alleges that Tlaib associated with three activists with ties to Hamas for her 2018 campaign fundraising. They have criticized Tlaib for these alleged connections and suggested that such affiliations are inappropriate for a Congress member.
