Chick-fil-A's Latest Opening in Everett Brings More Than Just Chicken: A Look Inside the Community Impact!

The new Chick-fil-A restaurant is opening on December 7 at 1124 SE Everett Mall Way. It will offer various services from Monday to Saturday, marking the fifth outlet in Snohomish County since the first in Lynnwood in 2015. These openings have historically attracted heavy traffic. This location, part of Everett Mall's redevelopment, is led by Brandon Ediger, an Everett resident and former general manager of another Chick-fil-A. The mall, owned by Brixton Capital, is also introducing new tenants like Ulta Beauty and At Home.

To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America for local hunger relief and participate in a food donation program. Chick-fil-A, with over 3,000 locations in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, has faced criticism for its ownership's stance on same-sex marriage and is known for closing on Sundays due to religious beliefs.

Trio Charged in String of Home Invasions Targeting Asian Americans Near Everett

Three men have been charged in connection with a series of home invasions near Everett, Washington. The invasions primarily targeted Asian American households in various counties. The suspects, identified as Cesar Aguirre Canchola, Cristian Alfredo Tovar Tovar, and Pascual Cazarin Ochoa, face numerous charges, including robbery and burglary. They allegedly selected their targets using online databases and committed thefts totaling tens of thousands of dollars. Following their arrest, they admitted to their roles in the crimes. Two of the suspects have links to a South American organized crime group.

President Joe Biden has recently moved away from using the term "Bidenomics" in his public addresses, amid growing dissatisfaction with the economy among voters. This term, once a staple in his discussions of economic policies, is being reconsidered as polls show significant public concern over issues like inflation. Inside the Democratic Party, there is a growing sense that the branding around "Bidenomics" has been ineffective, with some members openly criticizing the term for not aligning with the everyday challenges faced by Americans.

Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:

1 lb Pork Sausage

6 Eggs

1 Cup Milk

1 Bag seasoned Croutons

1/2 bag Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F

Heat a skillet over medium/high heat and brown the

sausage until cooked through. Drain any fat and set aside

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk

Add in croutons and stir until coated

Add abour 3/4 of the cheese adn all the sausage until combined

Grease an oven-safe dish (9x9 is preferred),and dump

in the mixture and distribute evenly in the dish

Sprinkle with remaining cheese & bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes

Allow the dish to cool for about 30 minutes before serving.
