Shop, Recycle, and Support Seniors at Everett's Helping Hands Holiday Event
The Helping Hands Holiday Bazaar, a popular holiday shopping event, is set to take place on December 8th at the PUD Headquarters in Everett, Washington. This event not only offers a wide range of unique, often handmade gifts but also supports a charitable cause by donating a portion of the proceeds to assist low-income seniors with their electric bills. In a bid to promote sustainability, the bazaar will feature a recycling initiative for styrofoam and holiday lights, managed by Ridwell. Attendees can also enjoy complimentary cocoa and interactions with the Commission and Zip.

NATO Chief Stresses Importance of Small Victories in Ukraine Amid Stalemate
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg recently warned of potential bad news from Ukraine, stressing the need for continuous support through the war's varying phases. Despite Ukraine's lack of major advancements in a recent counter-offensive, Stoltenberg noted the significance of smaller victories, like pushing back Russian forces on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River. Concurrently, the White House has expressed concerns about funding shortages for continued military aid to Ukraine, urging Congress to act promptly. The ongoing conflict is reportedly at a stalemate, with Ukrainian military leaders calling for significant technological advancements to change the course of the war.
