Green Energy and Tax Rebates: How Inslee's Plan Could Transform Washington State
In his final year as Washington's Governor, Jay Inslee is focused on protecting the state's progress in fighting pollution and climate change. Facing challenges, especially with the Climate Commitment Act potentially leading to higher gas prices, Inslee's supplemental budget includes initiatives like pay raises for paraeducators, additional housing for the homeless, and new health facilities. Despite opposition, particularly from the oil and gas industry, Inslee is determined to use Climate Commitment Act taxes for state benefits, advocating for long-term environmental sustainability over short-term gains.

Extensive Tunnel Network Linked to Weapons Workshops Found in Gaza
Israeli forces have identified a significant underground weapons factory in the Al Bureij area of Gaza, reported as the largest of its kind in the region. This facility is involved in producing long-range missiles and other munitions, connected to a comprehensive tunnel network for weapon distribution across Gaza. The site was shown to reporters, revealing workshops and storage areas. This discovery follows the Israeli military's invasion of Gaza, initiated in response to a Hamas attack on October 7. The conflict has led to extensive Palestinian casualties and displacement, with Israeli officials accusing Hamas of embedding military infrastructure within civilian zones.
