Armed Duo Assaults, Steals from School District Worker in Bellevue

In Bellevue, Washington, a disturbing incident occurred early Wednesday morning at the Bellevue School District bus yard. A school district employee found himself in a perilous situation when, around 5:22 a.m., he was confronted by two individuals while walking in the parking lot of the bus yard. The situation escalated quickly when the employee questioned the presence of the two individuals on the property. Each suspect drew a handgun and menacingly demanded the employee's phone and car keys. Defying their demands, the employee was subsequently assaulted by one of the assailants. The duo then seized his black 2017 Honda CR-V and fled the scene.

In a nearby location, officers discovered a stolen Kia, which they suspect was used by the culprits to reach the bus yard. The Bellevue Police Department is actively investigating this brazen carjacking, marking yet another incident in a growing trend of carjackings across the region. The police are urging the public to stay alert and adopt preventive measures against potential carjacking threats.
