Marysville 3rd Street Farmers Market returns in 2024
After a bright start last year, the Marysville 3rd Street Farmers Market will be back and better than ever in 2024.
“With a full season to be better organized, we look forward to a lively and flourishing Marysville Farmers Market,” said Market Director Gary Purves, who brings years of experience and a strong track record with the successful Everett Farmers Market.
Applications are now open for Marysville market vendors including growers, cheese, bread and baked goods, processors and concessions. Find more information and an application at https://marysville3rdstfarmersmarket.com/apply-to-be-a-vendor/.

Yemen Strikes Mark US Policy Shift in Response to Houthi Aggression
In a decisive military response to Houthi militants' repeated drone and missile attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea, US and UK forces have conducted targeted strikes against Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen. President Biden ordered these strikes to protect critical international maritime routes. Precision strikes were carried out, focusing on Houthi military installations, with minimal collateral damage, marking the first direct US military action against the Houthis in Yemen. The operation, which involved a coalition of supportive nations, was monitored in real-time by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. Concurrently, the United Nations Security Council condemned the Houthi attacks, reflecting global concern over the stability of this vital maritime region. This action represents a significant policy shift in the US approach to the ongoing conflict in Yemen and highlights the complex dynamics of Middle Eastern geopolitics.
