Bid Farewell to the Big Dark: Spring Forward with Daylight Saving Time
Washington, is poised to leave the winter's "Big Dark" behind, with daylight saving time bringing sunsets after 7 p.m. from March 10. Before this, expect more rain and snow, with unclear weather patterns expected by mid-next week. This transition follows a winter of extremes in Snohomish County, setting the stage for the gradual increase in daylight and temperatures that spring and summer promise. The Earth's axial tilt and orbit play crucial roles in seasonal daylight variations, influencing local weather patterns and temperatures.
