Marysville Man Receives 29-Year Sentence for Violent Home Invasion in Snohomish

Eleazar Cabrera, a 34-year-old man from Marysville, was sentenced to 29 years in prison for invading a Snohomish couple's home, where he robbed them and shot the husband multiple times in December 2022. This sentence came after Cabrera was convicted of first-degree assault, robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm. The attack occurred when Cabrera, recognized by the couple and referred to as "Poncho," and an accomplice entered their home. Cabrera's criminal record is extensive, with previous convictions for similar offenses. The incident has highlighted the serious consequences of repeated criminal behavior and the importance of judicial intervention in preventing further acts of violence.
