Fatal Rollover Crash Closes Northbound I-5 in Snohomish County for Hours

A severe rollover crash on northbound Interstate 5 in Snohomish County resulted in a fatality and caused the closure of the highway for several hours on Monday. Emergency response teams, including WSP troopers and medics, attended the scene, with a helicopter landing on the interstate to assist. The road was reopened after about three hours, but not before causing significant traffic disruption, with detours leading to a lengthy backup. The identity and age of the individual who died have yet to be disclosed.

Fentanyl and Meth Distributor Sentenced in Seattle Federal Court

Jesse Witteveen was sentenced to six years in prison for his involvement in a drug trafficking operation distributing fentanyl and meth in Washington state. The sentencing follows a comprehensive investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies, which also led to the arrest and sentencing of other key figures within the drug ring.
