Canine Cancer Alliance Marks Significant Fundraising at Annual 5K

The Canine Cancer Alliance hosted its annual "Wag Love Life" 5K Run and Walk at Marymoor Park in Redmond, raising $45,000 for canine cancer research and prevention. Founded in 2017 by Mari Maeda, who was inspired by the loss of her dogs to cancer, the CCA funds vital research across the country. This year's event was marked by the participation of Ande Eglund, who recently lost his popular dog, Dash. Despite challenging weather, the community showed strong support, contributing to the nearly $1 million raised by the CCA over the years.

Police Arrest Adult, Teen in Stolen Jewelry Bust at Alderwood Mall

Two suspects, an adult and a teenager, were arrested by Lynnwood Police while attempting to burglarize the JCPenney jewelry store at Alderwood Mall early Monday morning. They were caught shortly after the store's alarm system triggered at 3:20 a.m. A stolen Hyundai linked to a prior jewelry theft in Marysville was also recovered. The suspects, who had outstanding warrants including one for escape, possessed jewelry worth $200,000. The adult is now in Snohomish County Jail and the teenager in the Denny Youth Center.

Al Jazeera Vows Legal Action as Israel Shuts Down Operations Citing Security

The network refuted the allegations and reserved the right to take legal action.
