Boeing's April Woes: Orders Drop and Cancellations Surge as Crisis Deepens
In April, Boeing experienced a decline in aircraft orders and an increase in cancellations, primarily due to the discontinuation of Lynx Air. The company only managed to deliver 24 aircraft, falling further behind Airbus, which delivered 203 in the same period. The FAA has imposed restrictions on the production of Boeing 737 Max jets following a safety incident, adding to the company’s challenges. Despite these setbacks, Boeing reached a milestone by delivering its 1,500th 737 Max to Ryanair.
