Deadly Rafah Blast: International Condemnation and Investigations Follow
Prime Minister Netanyahu called the deadly Rafah airstrike a "tragic mishap" amid global condemnation. At least 45 were killed, and hundreds injured. Netanyahu stressed efforts to protect civilians and pledged continued action against Hamas. International bodies criticized the strike, urging compliance with the ICJ ruling to stop strikes on Rafah. The IDF killed two Hamas commanders but faced backlash for civilian casualties. Investigations into the incident are underway, and Netanyahu remains committed to military objectives in Rafah despite the incident's impact on Israel's global image.
