UW Police Seek Help in Solving Campus Robberies
University of Washington Police are investigating two violent robberies on campus. On Friday, two men armed with a gun attempted to steal a cell phone near Sieg Hall, fleeing towards Drumheller Fountain. On Monday, another robbery occurred at Drumheller Fountain, where two men threatened a victim with a gun and stole their cell phone. Both incidents may be connected. Earlier this month, similar robberies were reported, involving a man and a woman, off-campus and near Poplar Hall. In response, UW Police have increased evening patrols to enhance campus safety.

Czechia and U.S. Strengthen Ties Amid Ukraine Aid Efforts
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský reaffirmed their support for Ukraine, discussed Czechia's defense modernization, energy cooperation, and support for Taiwan. Czechia continues to raise funds for ammunition donations to Ukraine.
