Serious Injuries After Construction Worker Falls from Marysville Bridge

A construction worker fell approximately 60 feet from a bridge near Marysville, Washington resulting in serious injuries. The accident occurred just after 11:15 a.m. while the worker was on a Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) project. Following the fall, the worker landed in the water below and was promptly rescued and transported to a hospital. The specifics of the worker's condition have not been disclosed.

Fatal Motorcycle Crash Shuts Down East Marine View Drive in Everett

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car at the intersection of East Marine View Drive and 11th Street in Everett. The crash occurred around 8 p.m., and the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the car sustained minor injuries. Speed is suspected to have been a contributing factor in the accident, though the investigation is ongoing. The incident caused the closure of East Marine View Drive between 10th and 12th Streets for approximately six hours while authorities conducted their investigation. This was one of two fatal motorcycle accidents in Snohomish County on the same night; another motorcyclist died in a separate crash on Highway 530 near Darrington.
