Marysville Residents Invited to Shape New Gold Line Bus Route

Community Transit is seeking public input on the route for its new Gold Line bus rapid transit system, planned to connect Everett Station to Smokey Point by 2029. Three proposed routes through Marysville vary in their accessibility to businesses, residential areas, and transportation infrastructure. Community feedback will help determine the final route. An open house is scheduled for August 1, and public comments are open until August 7. The final decision will influence the location and number of new bus stations along the route.

Man Seriously Injured in Early Morning Ballard Shooting

A man was seriously injured in a shooting in Ballard, Seattle. The incident occurred in a parking lot early in the morning. The victim was taken to a hospital and later transferred to Harborview Medical Center. Police are investigating, but no suspects have been identified.
