Woman Killed by Amtrak Train in Everett

A woman was fatally struck by an Amtrak train in Everett near Harborview Park on Thursday evening, marking the third such incident in the area since June. Previous victims included a 16-year-old girl and a 55-year-old woman. The incidents have prompted reminders about railroad safety.

Hezbollah Attack in Golan Heights Sparks Israeli Retaliation Threats

A rocket attack on the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights has resulted in the deaths of at least 12 children and teenagers and left 29 others wounded. The incident occurred in Majdal Shams, a Druze town, where a rocket struck a soccer field on Saturday evening. This attack followed an Israeli airstrike on an arms depot in southern Lebanon, which killed three Hezbollah militants.
