Join the Fun at Monroe's 86th Annual Fair Days Parade This Saturday

The 86th annual Monroe Fair Days Parade will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24, starting at 11 a.m. on West Main Street in Monroe. The parade will feature local performances and attractions, drawing over 10,000 spectators. A market will also be held at the Wagner Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Several streets in the area will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate the event.

Seattle Drug Trafficker Gets 30 Months for Targeting Clinic Clients

A western Washington man was sentenced to 30 months in prison for selling fentanyl and other drugs near a Seattle methadone clinic, targeting its clients. Law enforcement seized drugs and firearms from his residences in Kent and Lynwood. The case involved the DEA, King County Sheriff's Office, and FBI.
