Kingston Fast Ferry Back on Schedule After Mechanical Repairs

Kitsap Transit’s Kingston Fast Ferry will return to its regular schedule on Sept. 10 after repairs to the M/V Finest. Service had been disrupted since late August due to mechanical issues, but all sailings, including key weekday and weekend trips, will resume. Mechanical problems and a lack of backup ferries had impacted the service across several routes. Alternative travel options were provided during the interruption.

Vehicle Damages Bus Stop and Traffic Pole at Everett’s 16th and Broadway

A vehicle accident at 16th and Broadway in Everett destroyed a bus stop, traffic pole, and metal sculpture. The driver was unharmed, but repairs will take weeks, limiting traffic to right turns at the intersection. There is no word yet on replacing the bus stop.

Civilians Killed as Israeli Forces Target Humanitarian Zone in Gaza
