Deadly Shooting Sparks Chase, Interstate Shutdown in Everett

An afternoon murder-suicide in Everett led to a police chase and a full closure of northbound lanes on Interstate 5 near 77th Street on Sunday. Two men were killed, and a woman was hospitalized. The suspect, who crashed on I-5, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Traffic backups extended over three miles as police continued their investigation, with partial closures expected through the evening. Authorities have stated that there is no further threat to the public.

Tensions Rise After Israeli Strike Kills Hezbollah Commander

Israeli President Isaac Herzog emphasized that Israel did not want its current conflict with Hezbollah but was forced into it due to threats from the group, backed by Iran.
